In April of 2026, I began teaching myself mixed media animation in order to develop the sponsor bumper for the 2026 Sidewalk Film Festival. This played before every film in the festival and showcased our amazing sponsors, as well as clips from this history of cinema. Everything was done entirely by hand, meaning I printed each individual still and manipulated the frames on paper with pens, ink, paint, stickers, pastels, etc. and then scanned those frames back into my computer in order to edit the animation. My friend Jonathan Oliphant composed the original music.
